Design Narrative

We designed the garden in a contemporary Japanese style with spaces for family gatherings to relax after busy work days.
Stone, gravel and statuary were imported from Japan for this truly bespoke garden. High-end teak wood was used for modern benches and the tea-house.
Views toward the garden from the home were carefully crafted. A Koi pond was set in the foreground directly abutting to the living room window. The ground was sloped toward the rear to enhance views of the imported stone, statuary and tea-house. Trees were carefully placed to block views of surrounding buildings. And, views of the horizon beyond the garden were borrowed to provide a sense that the garden is nestled in nature.
