DESIGN NARRATIVE

The 1200-hectare complex, an hours drive from Hanoi, is separated into numerous regions including environmentally responsible design and beautiful creative aspects. The construction project seeks to restore, preserve, and increase value based on the condition of each site. The subdivision plans that define the types of recreation are produced, including boating, fishing, rock climbing, mountain biking, resort, and, most notably, ‘cottage country’ – a novel concept in Vietnam. Cottages in the Nui Coc forest are designed to preserve the forest canopy, while modest houses in the agricultural area are combined with Thai Nguyen tea growing activities. To provide a focal point and attract tourists, a ‘land-art’ island was built, which was also a first for Vietnam.
